The District of Columbia to the Sentencing Commission’s has just released its fourth semi-annual newsletter entitled “The Commission Chronicle”. This newsletter highlights information regarding a synopsis of the recent Commission Meeting, New Mitigating Departure Factor, sentencing related data and trends, as well as our Commission Member Highlight. It is the goal of the Sentencing Commission is increase awareness throughout the District of the functions of the Sentencing Guidelines, and the current work of the Commission, along with felony sentencing trends.
