The Commission has released a new Past Data Response which contains a comprehensive evaluation of arrest, papering, disposition, and sentencing trends (as applicable) for adult felony arrests made in the District of Columbia between 2018 and 2022 where the individual was arrested for Carrying a Pistol without a License (CPWL), or Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (UPF). Descriptions of these two gun possession offenses are provided.
