The DC Sentencing Commission’s latest Issue Paper focusing on the “Statutory Enhancements and the DC Voluntary Sentencing Guidelines.” This Issue Paper will examine statutory enhancements used in the District and how they are applied under DC Voluntary Sentencing Guidelines. The Commission goal is to increase awareness among the public, of the impact on the District’s sentencing practices and understanding of the Guidelines.
