The DC Sentencing Commission is excited to release its first “Fast Facts” focused on Homicide offenses sentenced in the District of Columbia. Fast Facts are intended to provide interested parties and the general public a quick overview of sentencing trends for specific offenses. This overview contains information on sentence types and lengths, Guideline compliance rates and offender demographics for a specific offense. Fast Facts will be released semi-annually with a new offense highlighted in each release.
