The DC Sentencing and Criminal Code Revision Commission welcomes Matthew Graham as the agency’s Research Analyst. Mr. Graham attended the University of Missouri, where he attained a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, and Washington University in St. Louis, where he attained a Master’s degree in Political Science. His primary graduate-level research involved sentencing discrepancies by various socio-demographic characteristics, as well as multivariate statistics, game theory, vigilante group formation and survival, and comparative party politics.
Before pursuing a graduate degree Mr. Graham was employed as the news editor for two weekly newspapers in Portland, Oregon, covering politics at the local, state, and federal levels.
