Taylor Tarnalicki

Taylor Tarnalicki joined the D.C. Sentencing Commission in 2017, shortly after graduating from the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. Taylor was initially hired as a Research Analyst, where she was responsible for responding to data requests submitted by criminal justice practitioners and publishing numerous reports on District felony sentencing trends. As the Research Analyst she also piloted the Agency’s Fast Facts pamphlets. In September 2021, Taylor was promoted to Statistician. She continues to work on variety of data projects and now leads the Commission’s Annual Report, which showcases the Commission’s recent accomplishments, as well as current and historic sentencing trends. Taylor is actively pursuing a Master of Science in Data Analytics at Georgia Tech, where she is learning about advanced statistical models and how they can be applied to the Commission’s data.
