Emily Blume joined the D.C. Sentencing Commission staff as a Research Analyst in late February 2022. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology/Criminal Justice and Psychology. She formerly worked as a Research Assistant with the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security. As a Research Analyst, Emily conducts insightful and data-driven research that explores felony sentencing and arrest trends in the District.
